Assoc. Prof. Lucija Boljat, PhD
Lucija Boljat graduated from the philosophical and theological study programme at the Catholic Faculty of Theology in Zagreb in 2007. In the academic year 2007/2008, she enrolled in the post-graduate study programme of Canon Law at the Faculty of Canon Law of the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. She acquired her canon law licentiate in 2010, after which she enrolled in a doctoral study programme. At that University, she acquired a doctoral degree in Canon Law in 2014. She has participated in various institutional projects: Research of Current Topics in Canon Law: Theory and Application (2016-2021); The Catholic Church and Politics (from 2021); Agreements between the Holy See and the Republic of Croatia. Legal and Pastoral Expectations, Results, Challenges (since 2021). She has published two books, numerous scientific papers in the field of canon law. She has been the editor and a member of the Editorial Board of multiple collections of papers. She has participated in projects involving translations of canon law sources into Croatian and in the drafting of legal acts. She has been a member of the Croatian Canon Law Society professional association since its founding. From 2015, she held the position of the Chairperson of the Croatian Canon Law Society, and since 2019 she has been its Vice-Chairperson.
