Erasmus+ Scholarship Opportunities for Students and Staff Members (Researchers & Teachers) from Ukraine

In response to the war in Ukraine and students and staff members who are arriving to the Republic of Croatia, the University of Zagreb offers students /staff members from Ukraine the opportunity to continue their studies / professional career at our University.



STUDENTS

The call is open to UA students from universities that are NOT partners with UNIZG (list of partner UA universities is available here; students from UA partner universities need to apply through the call for applicants at their home universities/contact International Relations Office at home university).

Students are advised to send the following recommended documents to ukraine@remove-this.unizg.hr, so that the University administration may offer them support in continued studies at one of the University of Zagreb constituent units (faculties/art academies).

Applications for 2nd semester 2022/23 are closed.

RECOMMENDED DOCUMENTS TO BE SENT:
• Curriculum Vitae (English),
• Official Grade Transcript from home university (English),
• Certificate of Enrolment from home university (English),
• scan of ID document (passport if possible),
• Proof of English level - B2 (intermediate) level according to the Common European Reference for Languages (all kinds of language certificates are accepted).

Students that come to University of Zagreb to continue their studies may be considered for Erasmus+ financing (financial support). The condition for financing is that a student remains enrolled at the Ukrainian home university during the entire period of Erasmus+ mobility (exchange) at the University of Zagreb.

The financial support within Erasmus+ project is administered by the University of Zagreb Central International Relations Office depending on the available funding within the project and based on a "first-come-first-served" principle.

STAFF

Staff members, researchers / teaching staff members, may be considered for one-time short-term mobility in teaching / training within Erasmus+ mobility project if they are residing in Croatia and have a status of a person under international protection as third-country nationals / stateless persons.

The condition is that the staff member remains employed at the Ukrainian home university during the entire period of Erasmus+ mobility.

RECOMMENDED DOCUMENTS TO BE SENT:
• Curriculum Vitae (in English with research track),
• Nomination of the home university or a document confirming the employment status at home HEI in Ukraine (payslip, employment contract or similar document),
• scan of ID document (passport if possible),
• document proving a status of a person under international protection.

Documents need to be sent to erasmus.noneu@remove-this.unizg.hr, as to be considered for acceptance in cooperation with the University of Zagreb constituent units.
