Each year the University of Zagreb and the Croatian Heritage Foundation organize The University School of Croatian Language and Culture. This year the School will be held in Zagreb from 25 June to 22 July 2016.
The University School of Croatian Language and Culture is intended for young people of Croatian origin and any other participants who want to learn about Croatia, acquire or expand their knowledge of it and learn or improve Croatian as a foreign language (J2). It consists of academic language instruction organized by the University of Zagreb and a culture programme organised by the Croatian Heritage Foundation.
The University School may be attended by teachers of Croatian as a foreign language who wish to improve in the area of mastering a foreign language by participating in classes and attending classes designed specifically for them.
You can get a lot more of your stay in Croatia if you know a little of the local language and the social codes. After all, Croatian is the language of the environment in which you are going to live and study and will be an important part of your life in Croatia.
