University of Zagreb Establishes Coronavirus Crisis Headquarters

According to article 13 of the Statute of the University of Zagreb, and the recommendation of the Rector's Collegium, rector Professor Damir Boras, Ph. D. announced the decision on establishing a University of Zagreb Crisis Headquarters for nCoV Diseases (COVID-19). The task of the Crisis Headquarters is to monitor the developing conditions regarding the nCoV diseases (COVID-19) and advising the University of Zagreb administration according to the current epidemiological situation.

Professor Mirjana Kujundžić Tiljak, Ph. D., acting director of the Andrija Štampar School of Public Health of the University of Zagreb's School of Medicine, was named President of the University of Zagreb Crisis Headquarters for nCoV Diseases. Members of the Crisis Headquarters include the head of the School of Medicine's Chair of Infectious Diseases Professor Adriana Vince, Ph. D., dean of the School of Medicine Professor Marijan Klarica Ph. D., dean of the School of Dental Medicine Professor Zrinka Tarle, Ph. D., dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Professor Nenad Turk, Ph. D., vice-dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Professor Ljubo Barbić, Ph. D., and the vice-rector for Students, Study Programmes and Quality Management Professor Ivana Čuković-Bagić, Ph. D.
