Classes for all University of Zagreb study programmes to be conducted remotely from Monday 16th March

On Friday 13th March 2020, according to Article 13 of the Statute of the University of Zagreb, and the recommendations given by the University of Zagreb Crisis Headquarters for nCoV Diseases (COVID-19), rector Professor Damir Boras, Ph. D. has issued a resolution which stipulates that, in light of the current epidemiological situation, classes for all University of Zagreb study programmes be conducted remotely. That way, students will be able to study from home, and professors will be available to them through online communication.

These measures are to be implemented from Monday 16th March, with an expected duration of fourteen days.

To all University of Zagreb constituent units
According to Article 13 of the Statute of the University of Zagreb, and the recommendations given by the University of Zagreb Crisis Headquarters for nCoV Diseases (COVID-19), the rector issues a resolution.

1. In light of the current epidemiological situation, from Monday 16th March 2020, classes for all University of Zagreb study programmes is to be conducted remotely, to enable the students to study from home.
2. The heads of the University of Zagreb constituent units are obligated to ensure the availability of their professors to the students via electronic means.
3. The head of each constituent unit may define deviations from the regular implementation provided the learning outcomes are realised.
4. The heads of the University of Zagreb constituent units are obligated to ensure regular operation of the administrative, auxiliary and technical services of their constituent unit.
5. These measures are to be implemented from Monday 16th March 2020, with an expected duration of fourteen days.
6. The recommended measures regarding self-isolation of staff according to the rector's 11th March 2020 Instructions are still in effect.
